***** In some ways this is their best album. Their first is probably what I'll always call my favourite, just because of the ridiculously amazing quartet of Talk You Down, The Man Who Can't Be Moved, Breakeven and Before The Worst, while the next two albums each only have one song in that league: Nothing and Six Degrees Of Separation.<br><br>But what I'm finding is that with each album the other songs are more and more solid and help to create a better album as a whole. Science & Faith was a better listen than their debut as a whole, which, while still good, kind of fell away after the first half. Science & Faith was better able to keep it going. And #3 is better at that again, so while there are less outstanding tracks, there are also less than aren't really up to scratch.<br><br>But then, I'll pretty much enjoy any Script song so far, I don't think they've released one I dislike. Perhaps for me though, they're becoming less of a singles artist and more of an albums artist. |
