Erster neuer Release für 2009 von Kelly Jones & Co - das Tempo stimmt, der Beat leicht motown-geschwängert, das "ouu-uu-uu" im Background prägt sich ein - gelungenes Comeback.

"Innocent" ist ein regelrechter Burner, wenn es um Britpop geht. Da stimmt alles. Der schlagende Rhythmus, die sanften u. passenden Gitarren, der herrliche Gesang u. jep da lausch ich gerne hin. <br><br>Zur 6 fehlt noch der letzte Kick....

Dit is misschien wel één van de beste pop/rock songs in jaren. Na fantastische singles als Dakota en Mr. Writer in het verleden, weet Stereophonics mij opnieuw te verrassen.

Was een knaloptreden in A'dam afgelopen zaterdag! Is de eerste single sinds Dakota ('05) die weer wat airplay krijgt. Wordt in de UK beter op waarde geschat.

Auf der einen Seite ist das eher ein Gute-Laune-Lied, aber es klingt doch stellenweise ziemlich traurig (besonders der Sänger). Das ist schon recht verwirrend, die Komposition hätte da mehr hergegeben. - 3.35*
