**** Over the past decade or so, I've developed quite a liking for the music of the Stereophonics, without ever really delving too much into anything more than their "Decade In The Sun" best of, and then occasional newer songs. I was looking forward to their new album, but when I first heard it while at work, I was quite underwhelmed. After repeated listens, however, I was quite taken with this song. It's quite a different sound to my usual favourites of theirs, with a much slower pace and far less energy, however there's so much emotion on display that it's hard to ignore. The vocals are excellent, and the repeated "you don't love me" chorus hits hard. |
