***** I think this might be Sia's most consistent album. She's delivered greatness for over 15 years now, and it's on full force here. It's not the album of hers I'm most familiar with, but it gives me the most joy from top to bottom; drenched in the trip-hop vibes that she made a name for, but still with a pop sensibility which leads to some really memorable cuts like "Sweet Potato", "Moon" & "Don't Bring Me Down". The big single "Breathe Me" is here too, and still sounds as divine to me as it did years ago, yet I don't find it to be the album's peak, as "Sunday" comes just before it with a melody I can't resist. I think I can safely say that this is my favourite album of hers. |
