| ***** eine schöne ballade, 2. single ihres 4. albums. |
| *** Not bad but Steal My Girl is better. |
| *** weniger gut |
| **** Like this one a more easy listening track with a good music video.

11th UK top 10. 18 weeks in the UK top 100.

UK#7.
Scotland#7.
Ireland#13.
Portugal#24.
Bulgaria#33.

Taiwan#1 (1 week).

Canada#20.
US#31.

Brazil#35.

600,000 copies sold in the UK.
1 million copies sold in the US. |
| **** Nice song. |
| *** Probably better than 'Steal My Girl' but besides the chorus I don't get much out of this. |
| **** ...durchschnittliche vier... |
| *** Ach nein |
| ****** Adore this, such a beautiful song. Last edited: 19.10.2015 09:34 |
| *** Halt eine Boygroup-Advents-Ballade von vielen. |
| ** Beliebig austauschbarer Teenie-Pop. |
| ***** This is fantastic and needs to be a single. |
| ***** After 'Steal My Girl' and pretty much every other song oneD has released in the last year, this is refreshing. One of their better singles to date. |
| ** ihre weiblichen Verehrerinnen können hier dahinschmelzen, abgerundete 2.5
|
| *** eher langweilig, als was anderes! |
| ** Eine "Boygroup Advents-Ballade" zwar, doch ohne mitreißende Melodie. Also da pennt man weg ey.

Dagegen war die letztjährige "Boygroup Advents-Ballade" ("Story Of My Life") der Jungs echt gelungen. |
| **** I actually don't mind this track either. Definitely up there with 'Steal My Girl'. |
| **** Very nice! I will continue this review by comparing this song to previous singles to further validate my opinion and demonstrate how varied my taste of One Direction music is. This is easily amongst "You and I" and "Story of My Life" as their best singles in the last few years, although it is definitely not as good as "One Thing" or "What Makes You Beautiful," because heaven forbid they actually make a song as good as those. |
| **** Pas déplaisant à écouter. |
| ** Not really a fan of this on he whole. It sounds very similar to "Changes" by David Bowie. |
| ***** I'm not usually a fan of this type of songs/sound, but this is really nice and enjoyable. Probably their best song. |
| *** Kaum der Rede wert. |
| *** ...weniger... |
| **** My favourite so far from the lads. This just comes across as more authentic. The melody late in the chorus reminds me of something from the early '80s but I still can't pick it.
I like the soothing listen overall. The vocal shifts in the verses are a minor flaw however. 4.5* |
| ** na ja |
| **** This song is quite an oddity in their catalogue I feel. I found it hard to get into at first because it didn't stand out in any way aside from sounding odd. It is nice. I like that it's something a bit unexpected too. Lyrically it has always been confusing to me however. At face value it sounds like a typical romantic song but some lyrics make me think it could be much darker than that? I still haven't figured out what it's supposed to be but my best guess is that she's very shy and has low self-esteem and is worried too much about screwing things up. And they're worried about her for that reason? Confusing indeed. But if that is what the lyrics about then that is actually relatable to me so yay I guess. Also the transitions in the song feel a bit odd too and maybe contributed to it taking so long to grow. But that aside, it's a refreshing track after "Steal My Girl" and is probably my favourite of the songs I've heard from "FOUR". |
| ***** Definitely up there as one of their best!

Peaked at #2 on my personal chart.

Came in at #28 on my TOP 100 OF 2015.

P = 64 Last edited: 07.04.2021 06:24 |
| ****** The lyrics are beautifully put together. They have amazing voices and the song makes me emotional. |
| **** ist okay

CDN: #20, 2014
USA: #31, 2014 |
| ****** Several years on and this remains as one of the best lyrically and instrumentally. Just the whole thing sounds beautiful and authentic and without the One Direction label on them, this would be much more praised as a pop song |
| ** schwach. |
| *** geht so |
