Still really good in retrospect. Definitely a throwback, I love how it stood out in the chart at the time. I adore how loud they make that pre-chorus, and it's fun the first time how it tricks you into thinking the chorus will be MASSIVE but it's so restrained. The second time the chorus is more like I'd expect, making it a good payoff. It's ridiculously catchy and it sounds like they had so much fun recording this. How could I not enjoy it? :D It's a shame it didn't perform as well as I was expecting but I'm pleased they've managed to recover from what was an underwhelming era commercially. I'd say only "Wings" and "Black Magic" are better.

Okay on first listen and I love the early 2000's feel and the real Pharrell inspiration behind it. Now, after a few more listens to it, it's great. These girls haven't failed to make a good song yet! |

I like that this subverts standards a bit. While the chorus is generally made to be the focus of attention, instead of making it big and explosive, it comes in very restrained, particularly in comparison to the pre-chorus. Meanwhile they don't stick on any one part of the song for too long without chucking something new in. Best evidenced in the fact that the chorus plays out differently every time which just does not happen anywhere near enough.<br> <br>This song just fascinates me, but I also enjoy it quite thusly. 4.2
