James delivers a brilliant vocal throughout, with his work during the chorus expressing a real vulnerability serving as the highlight. When Julia finally joins him towards the end of the second verse, the song elevates to another level. Her capacity here is more in the role of background singer, as she's only really accompanying James, but she complements him very well. The music is gorgeous and well-suited to the lyrics which discuss the new feelings of love when you meet the right person. The second chorus is my favourite part of the song. The first is catchy enough, but with the addition of the drums for the second, as well as more lyrics, it becomes fantastic. This is my favourite song either have been involved with to date. |
