....schrecklicher Gesang....der Soundtrack wäre noch gut, auch die Instrumentierung...aber was die da Gesang nennen ist schlicht eine Katastrophe...kaum ein Ton sitzt...

A surprise #1 back in 2007.

Spent a single week atop of my personal.

Not their best, but one of their most popular.
******
My personal favourite of Evermore.

excellent track

OK. So I love it, and it's my favourite of theirs. But, it didn't really deserve to be a #1 and was a shock when it got there (only because of Home and Away using it.) Still, I don't begrudge them the success, they are great.

One of my favourite chart runs. I loved the week it lept from 8 to 3 and I knew it was finally charting where it should. Surprisly hit #1 in it's 14th week! Talk about a sleeper hit.
I love it and the best from Evermore.

Nice song. Glad that it hit #1, but it seems to be forgetten of late.

shock #1. good song though

A nice listen. It's a little surprising the big success this had, which has helped me to like it more. 4.8*

Lieb gesungenes Stück der neuseeländischen Pop-Rock-Band um die Brüder Hume – aufgerundete 3.5…

Alright.

Good song but unfortunately got a bit annoying due to use in Home And Away ads

While I am very happy it got to #1 I wouldn't put this anywhere near my Top 5 Evermore Tracks ever and I always found it underwhelming compared to the previous single. But this track is good in it's own right though.

Impressive song. 4.75*.

Simply stunning. This is Evermore's best right here. The chorus to me stacks up as one of the most memorable of all time, and the way the production builds up from the start to the first chorus never gets old. I also love how the second verse's lyrics are delivered slightly differently from the first verse, with that middle section of the second verse a particular highlight. However, similarly, perhaps the only thing I can fault about this is that perhaps the chorus could be changed up a bit more vocally, but nonetheless, it's firmly up there as one of my all time favourites.

To be honest, there wasn't a better number one single than this right up until Gotye over four years later, definitely a deserved number one in my books.

Great song but just don't think it is #1 quality. Running was far superior.
