The biggest disappointment about "Motion" for me was the lack of Ayah, who has delivered far better than Calvin has in the past 12 months. I was looking forward to another collaboration as they always make something special when they record a track together. Which comes to songs like this. Sure it's good and well produced, plus the post-drop parts without vocals are really cool. But the vocals are just dumb and silly and this type of thing comes across as filler. I can't help but think this and a few other tracks could've been cut for something better, like a collab with Ayah.

Enjoyable to be honest but it doesn't seem to fit the brief for the album which is weirder the more I think about it.
