The Freemasons remix is quite good and that's why I'll give it 4* for a start. The original mix has quite the same structure like Happiness, but it doesn't have that extra something |

This song is a big pile of nothing. It'd be annoying if it wasn't so utterly boring. The chorus is repetitive.....if you're still awake when you get there. She is the female version of Bruno Mars. Please go away. |

It's interesting how many stages this song has to go through. By the time you get through to the end of the first chorus, you're already 1:45 into the song. Because of that, there's only enough time to basically do that again and the song is over.<br><br>That's not my biggest problem with the song though, for that, it's the fact that too much emphasis is put on the rather weak chorus, which comes after a somewhat captivating hook, which is what got me to liking this at the time. I guess in that respect I can see why it never really took off as a hit, but I enjoy it quite a bit more than "Happiness" 3.3

Sounds like a complete rip-off of Happiness, is that exactly the same beat? I think so. Nevertheless, it's still a fun little chill-out song that's fun to dance to.

@ Monrosefreakxx: Also mich pers. würde es wundern, wenn die süße Alexis Jordan zum großen Weltstar werden würde.<br><br>"Happiness" z.B. war zwar ein sehr netter Song aber nicht sehr hervorstechend (im Vergleich z.B. zu Natalia Kills "Mirrors").<br><br>"Good Girl" ist auch gut gemacht u. gut eingesungen. Aber wiederum eine Spur zu austauschbar.<br><br>Ihre Stimme ist aber cool....sehr fein. Mal gucken, was da noch kommt von der? Vielleicht wird das good Girl ja bald zum bad Girl...?? |

Het succes van "Happiness" lijkt niet meer te overtreffen met al 10+ wk op #1 in de Top 40. Toch zit er met deze opvolger nog wel een tweede hitsingle in. Waar het hele nummer de saaiheid eigenlijk overheerst, krijgt Jordan me toch om bij het horen van het zeer aanstekelijke refreintje. En dat is knap. |

Dit is toch beduidend minder dan haar knaller 'Happiness'. En DeejayDave heeft wel een beetje gelijk: dit is best een saaie plaat, maar het refreintje steekt er natuurlijk met kop en schouders bovenuit. Acceptabel R&B-plaatje van Alexis, maar net niet acceptabel genoeg voor de vier sterren.

'Happiness' was natuurlijk geniaal, maar dit nummer mag er ook best wezen. Alexis Jordan houdt het net als in 'Happiness' heel erg simpel door gebruik te maken van een stevige beat met een paar rustige zanglijnen. Zo goed als haar vorige single is het niet, toch zal ze niet de status 'eendagsvlieg' krijgen met dit nummer. |
